The RED One M-X

The RED One is far more than "yet another camera" - but
that's a good place to start! Let's put it very simply... size
matters, whatever people may say, and the RED's Mysterium-X
sensor (our systems have been upgraded) is bigger than a super 35mm film frame, and massively bigger than even the best broadcast HD camera sensor.

This means two things: the Mysterium-X reads over 12 million pixels, shooting up to a 4.5K resolution, which results in a breath-taking quality image comparable only to that of a fine grain 35 mm film. It also means that the RED camera uses the same cinema film lenses, giving fabulous depth of field control and selective focus, incredible richness of color and contrast, and a natural look that matches how a human eye sees. The RED even provides perfect slow motion and high speed capture in-camera, and stunning interval time lapse recording.

People have been messing around for years trying to make video look like 35mm film... the RED One finally allows a skilled DP and cinematographer to achieve just that, with all of it's mystical quality, depth and richness, which helps us to create the most breathtaking, highest quality video programs imaginable!
